But most important difference in buttock implants comparing to breast implants is that they have to endure a lot of more strain and pressure. When they are properly placed, dissolvable stitches are used to close the incision that was made before. Wound is closed with bandages and patient is ready for recovery. Patient won't be able to move and will even have problems to lie in bed due to pain. Someone should provide necessary care for the patients after he is released home. There will be swelling and pain for almost a month, depending on circumstances. After a month, patient will be able to move much more and will see how his behind looks with butt implants. Activities like running, cycling or gym can usually be resumed about four weeks following surgery. But patient will need six or eight months until the butt implants feel as if they are part of the body and the patient completely forgets about them being there.
