Nope! Not kidding! Some scientists with tremendous resources of book smarts and zippo common sense have concluded that our planet would be a better place if we manufactured mass quantities of e Coli bacteria and used it as an alternative energy source!
The thing that never ceases to amaze me about the the perceived scarcity of energy is that there is just so much energy in the universe, how could we possibly have such a condition as a scarcity? The physical universe IS energy! And out of what desperation do scientists turn to a deadly bacteria as a potential energy source? If the atom bomb is the result of cracking ONE atom in half... then what quantity of energy is there potentially...in your body? In Jessica Alba's body? In your little finger? In the skin on your nose? Ya know, it is a miracle that when we sneeze we don't blow the town to smithereens! When was the last time you had a toothache? How much energy was there in that? Or the last time that you bumped your elbow? Ya know? That agony certainly is energetic somehow... it is some kind of energy and a lot of it! And still we can agree that there can be a scarcity of energy? And glorified geeks and nerds can go poking in such crazy places as deadly viruses in search of alternative energy sources? And, speaking of lunacy the best that Bush can recommend is to conduct more study into coal? One of the best sources that there is for fuel for your automobile is water! If have the know-how you can extract hydrogen from water and power your automobile on it! And corporations with billions of dollars in annual profit are still drilling for old dinosaur bones for fuel and our politicians are fighting wars over dem bones? Come on people, This planet just can't be this nutty! If you ever step back and view conditions on this planet that have been generated by greed and lack of foresight it is really laughably illogical. So here is my invitation, opt out of that game! We can play a much finer game! We need you! We have the technology to convert water into fuel and we need you to participate as a pioneer in your neighborhood and for your family and friends. Let's play a new game where everybody of good will will win at the energy game!
