As i sit here, in front of my computer, I can't help thinking about where I'd be with out it, or my high speed internet connection for that matter. You see I use my computer every day for work as well as for recreation and communication.
The age of the internet is well and truly here. They are an integral part of all our lives. And it hasn't taken long for it to happen. It was only a few years back that we still searched the web using a dial up service. God! I hated dial up. As soon as you would press the connect button you would get this horrible squeeking noise that would get right in your ears. Makes me shudder just thinking about it. High speed internet has helped me say goodbye to those nightmare days. You see, the problem wasn't only how slow the web pages loaded or your email sent; it was the fact that you could get kicked off at any given time. This doesn't occur with cable high speed Internet service. But with that pesky dial-up I was booted out of cyberspace on a regular basis. I would lose the connection every time someone in my house used the telephone, or when to many customers were using the service. I was using very popular dial up internet service, it would seem. I frequently get thrown out in the middle of and internet chat, or writhing and important email. It drove me nuts! I'm am so glad those days are over. With wireless high speed internet hotspots giving us the freedom to get connected anywhere, hard to imagine what more is to come. I don't what the future has in store for us, when it comes to high speed internet, but as long as I don't have to put up with the hassles of dial up then I am one happy bunny!
