This cottage industry seems on the verge of exploding says small business owner Bob Egizi, publisher of the popular Mudpie4me.com website. “We're seeing a definite increase in purchases of street signs this summer over last and moving on towards Christmas. We're expecting to be very busy.” When asked what the furor was all about, Egizi said, “Everyone loves driving and seeing a street sign with their name on it. It's a sort of fame, sites like mine allow people to bring that fame home legally and without getting a lot of people lost. It's a fun thing to have on the wall” Dan Diorio of Fort Myers agrees. “I bought one when my daughter was born. It's a nice decoration but it's also something I'll have forever because of how it is made.
