Annabel began asking the spirit for his name and why he was in this shed and hadn't moved on. The ghost told Annabel that his name was Albert and he was the owner of the house before this family had moved in. He had suffered a stroke and died whilst working in his shed.
He also told Annabel that the shed was where he would spend most of his time pottering away; his shed was his pride and joy and when he passed on he decided that's where he wanted to stay. I suddenly felt a gust of wind blowing across my face as Annabel was telling us this information from the ghost. This could be attributed to the winds that were blowing hard outside the shed. However, Annabel told me that the ghost had brushed past me just as she was describing him to me. It seemed as though the ghost was sorry if he had scared the family at all, but he it made him happy being in his shed, and always enjoyed seeing the family playing in the garden. He asked Annabel to see if he would be allowed to stay in the shed, and promised us that he would not scare the family anymore. I was recording video footage of Annabel, when I captured a small light anomaly. It appeared to float around her head, then disappear again. I asked Albert if he would do it again for us. I surprised when it appeared that he actually did. I was very pleased by all this, especially as I had captured it all on camera. We asked him to move some of the tools in the shed for us, but unfortunately nothing seemed to happen. We spent a few more hours in the shed, but captured nothing else apart from a few more orbs. There was also nothing that we managed to pick up on the Dictaphone, apart from our own voices. We told the family of our findings, and about what the ghost had asked us. They were fine with everything now that they knew what was going on in the shed. Once they realised that he was no danger to them, they agreed that he could stay too and were happy with the situation. This wasn't one of the most active locations that we had encountered, but it has to be one of the happiest stories we have.
