Excessive sweating is a normal problem. A lot of people in the modern world struggle with excessive sweating on a daily basis. What are the reasons behind the excessive sweating? In this article I will give you an overview of six of the more common reasons for excessive sweating.
*What we eat is often one top reason why we sweat too much. A healthy diet can help a lot on our way to overcome our excessive sweating. Another common diet issue is strong spices like onions, chili, curry and similar. Not only do these spices increase your sweat level. They also help to increase the smell of your sweating
*Coffee together with energy drinks or drinks with a high level of sugar are also not beneficial if you want to lower the level you sweat. Sure, an ice cold drink cools your body for a while, but the energy loaded ingredients will increase your blood pressure instantly and lead you to sweat more. The negative consequences of the ingredients will last longer than the cool down feeling the drinks will give you. Coffee is most often a hot drink and will also not help. Try water.
*If you thought smoking helped you calm down and sweat less you where wrong. The cigarette will probably help you for 10 minutes before the bodies' process of tricking you into taking the next cigarette starts. The toxics in cigarettes and the stress and uncomfortable reactions these causes is one of the biggest causes for excessive sweating. Also if you are an excessive sweater you only make things worse if you smoke.
*One of the worst traps that excessive sweaters step into is chemical products marketed to clean you body. Body lotions, soaps, shampoo and even antiperspirants are produced with a lot of toxics. These toxics irritate your skin and body and make you sweat even more. It becomes a bad circle because those of us who sweat use even more perfume, antiperspirant and skin lotions to prevent the problem, but only end up making it worse.
*When you buy clothes you should always check the label. It is important to buy clothes with breathing material like cotton or wool. I bet you are wearing acrylic socks as you read this. Acrylic will not able your feet to breathe as they are supposed to. Use cotton socks instead, or wool if it is cold. Also stay away from polyester or other non breathing fabrics.
*The power of your mind is amazing. Thinking about sweating, or worse, thinking about not sweating actually triggers your body to start sweating. Fear of starting to sweat will cause stress and nervousness that result in excessive sweat. Instead of focusing on your excessive sweat problem when you are walking, try to move your mind toward something completely different.
There are several cures for excessive sweating. Most of these will not help you and some will even make it worse. A favorite of mine is detoxing as I have referred to several time during this article. You have both internal detoxing in terms of removing strong spices, coffee, cigarettes, alcohol and sugar from your diet. This I think is the toughest way.
External detoxing is the process of changing the way you clean your body. This includes changing your beauty and washing products as well as some other methods I have had great success with. The external detoxing, together with some of the other mentioned advices is what helped me stop sweating excessively.
