You will not score in any game if you do not concentrate. Easily, your opponents take away the ball from you. To be a great basketball player, one must undergo rigid training. It is not an easy task, but it is your resolve to be successful in basketball.

You need a plan to overcome compulsive behavior, and firmness to succeed. You have to be revitalized, focused, and determined. Set realistic goals.

Your enemies must not hamper your resolve to overcome compulsion. Be wary of temptation. Be resolved to stay focused. Do not allow temptations to drift into your subconscious be firm and drive them out, these will cripple your resolve. In the face of temptation, be firm. Be warned when temptations occur, accept it but do not give in. Do not yield when friends tempt you. Deny yourself junk food and you will overcome. Applaud yourself when you succeed.

It is earnest to refuse that there is nothing more to do. Persistently refusing to do something has influence. It is absolute refusal that makes decisions resolute.

Being intent is being immersed on something. Be like an athlete ready for the battle. Be fixed on what you intend to achieve. Do not be distracted. Just as an archer aims for his target, he is focused to hit the target. Once he has fired his arrow, he rests and prepares to fire again. The concentration is exhausting. Stay focused. Emulate the athlete. Aim for the target and be totally fixed on it everyday, especially just before you eat or face temptation. Once it is over, take it easy and prepare for the next target. The mind can be persistent, and you will often find that it was all useless, unaware that it is too late. This happens to us all. It can give you a thrust in your resolve to be on guard.

Fixed decisions end mental wars. Weak decisions are meaningless. There will be moments you will compromise and feel you failed. Be firm. If you have made the decision to consume a bowl of food per meal, decide to be hungry before eating. Stick to your decision! "I am not being shoved anymore. Food will not control me. I am standing firm. My decision is final. I will not waver." The struggle ends.

You are determined to succeed. Go over the reasons every day as to why you have made these decisions. The moment you weaken in your decision, the war begins. Do not buckle, you will succeed.

Compulsion is a monstrous cycle. Emotions confuse when pain comes in: insecurity, anxiety, fear, feeling empty and deprived. These feelings will not exist if your decision is resolute.
