Matrix programs and mlm, stay away from. You will never reach the goal of bringing in thousands of people into your business. Thats the only way you'll make any money with these programs. Within 3 sales, you should be breaking even or in the profit. This is the compensation program that will get you off to the best start. If you have to hold home parties to sell a product or bring in affiliates, forget it. You won't have any friends left. A sales pitch 2-3 times a day means the company is only interested in selling you than training you. If you want to make money in the long run you need good training. Before you do business with anyone, make sure you can talk to the owners and have your questions answered. Find out if they are doing the training themselves and sit in on one of the training sessions. Stay away from companies that are selling products like lotions, potions, pills, miracle juices or anything like this. If I want these types of products I would go to GNC, CVS, Walgreens, Nordstroms, etc. Beware of the pre-launch or it's brand new. Chances are these companies won't go anywhere and you'll be wasting your time and money. Multiple streams of income opportunities don't work for anyone starting out. You need to get good at the skill of marketing one thing before expanding into other things. Stay away from the internet guru. Most of them are jumping from program to program claiming they are experts. They join many new programs and sucker as many as they can into them. Look for a company that will teach you the skills of internet marketing on a weekly basis. If you are not taught the skill of marketing, then you are at the mercy of a company that claims they will drive traffic for you.
