Dr. Joe Vitale a Law of Attraction expert and featured personality in "The Secret", is the president of Hypnotic Marketing, Inc. He has written several books including, "The Attractor Factor, 5 Easy Steps for Creating Wealth (or Anything Else) from the Inside Out", "Life's Missing Instruction Manual: The Guidebook You Should Have Been Given at Birth", and "Zero Limits: The Secret Hawaiian System for Wealth, Health, Peace, and More".
Dr. Joe Vitale also has a number-one bestselling audio program. It's called "The Power of Outrageous Marketing". He is the world's first hypnotic marketer, and as such, he has made millions and millionaires. He has used his talent to change the lives of many the world over.
Joe Vitale has known since childhood that he wanted to be a writer. His inspiration came from meeting the writer of the "Twilight Zone" series, Rod Serling. In his mind, Joe assumed this phenomenal writer must be a god-like creature, so it was a bit of a disappointment to him to find out Serling was only human. If Serling could write so well, he knew he could, too.
Why is Joe Vitale so successful? People ask him that question a lot, and his response is always the same: he follows his driving enthusiasm. Whatever his interest at the time, a person, place, or thing, he follows it. He never knows where he's going when he follows his passions. He only knows he's following his heart.
One of Joe Vitale's interests was in a man named Bruce Barton, who was the founder of BBDO. He wanted to learn as much as possible, so Joe researched him for two years. Afterwards, he wrote a very successful book "The Seven Lost Secrets of Success", which has since been printed approximately 20 times. He didn't follow Barton with the expectation of writing a book. The book was simply a result of the passion he followed.
"Follow your passions and make a million bucks this year?" No. It doesn't usually work that way. Joe Vitale is no exception to that rule. He, like most people, had to struggle a great deal in the beginning. For a while, he even became homeless. He took whatever job he could find just to feed his wife and himself. Never did he give up his passion for writing, though.
The key to overcoming is to figure out what's holding you back. Joe had an inward struggle. No one in his family was into books. No one wrote books. No one had a passion for reading. He was the outsider. It took a move of 2,000 miles for Joe to get far enough from the struggle to overcome his issues with poverty.
Although not in poverty anymore, Joe still struggled with the income glass ceiling. Why couldn't he have unlimited income? Each of us has an unconscious reason to figure out for ourselves. Joe's was the guilt of making more money than his father made. When he overcame that battle, he was finally able to achieve the wealth he wanted.
