If you are a gamer than you should fully understand the importance your reaction time. It doesn't matter if you're playing an FPS, RTS, or World of Warcraft, your ability to quickly make decisions and execute on them via the quickness of your fingers is of absolute most importance.
I've known a few players who were "clickers", basically players who choose to bind very few or no keys at all. The argument being they didn't need bindings because of the 1.5 second global cooldown. To me, this just seems absolutely ridiculous. It'd be like trying to type only using one finger.
Clicking each button on your interface with the mouse simply isn't as efficient as your ability to remember the layout of the keyboard. The big point is that clicking not only requires your ability to make fast decisions but also to drag the mouse over said button and click, all of this in the course of a battle? You'll do yourself a huge favor by allowing memorization and muscle retention take you to glory.
The more you can eliminate the number of abilities you have to click the better off you are going to be. For the majority of the population your left hand will rest on the keyboard, hovering over home row. This will be the base for all of your World of Warcraft key bindings. Q, W, E, A, S, D are the standard default for movement keys, though you'll mainly use the mouse to move and change your camera viewing angle. It's important to leave most of these keys bound as you'll often have to target with your mouse, so allowing continued movement is necessary. You may decide to change your strafe keys from Q and E and A and D, as the camera angle hotkeys are 100% needed.
The range of your fingers will determine which key will be the longest reach for you, it'll probably be somewhere in the 5-7 range. Now draw an imaginary limit from this location to the lower regions of your keyboard, this will be your key bindings home row. It's important to remember that you'll want to make sure that all of your bindings are very easy for you to hit, so they can simply become second nature. Memorizing all of your hotkeys will help you to increase reaction time and ability to make quick decisions.

There was a time, long, long ago when I was sadly put, a "clicker". I bound what I considered to be important abilities; mutilate, kick, sinister strike, those types of attacks, but left many other skills that I'd needed to become a better player unbound. Eventually I just became fed up and bound everything, and while it took me a while to get used to a whole new set of bindings it made me a much better player in the long run.
I was insanely faster in Arena, a more efficient raider, and brought my game to a higher level. My bindings and techniques for learning worked perfect for me, though they might not be right for you. Try some different setups, but take the time to really learn a your keys. Trust me, learning a solid set of keys will really help you out in the long run and will make you a better player in all sects of this game.
