To increase your chances of getting your ex girlfriend back you have to play it smart. And it's important for you to understand that some of things you are doing right now to win her back, even with the best of intentions, may actually be pushing her further away from you instead.
You need to take a step back right now and evaluate whether your handling of the situation so far has made it better or worse. If your emotions have been getting the best of you it might be hard to think clearly and you could be digging yourself into a deeper and deeper hole. Now that someone that you really love and feel you need in your life has left or wants to leave you may begin to panic. Your brain shuts off and the heart takes over instead. So what makes us get so crazy when it comes to love? This panic you feel can come from the loss of control you think you are experiencing now - everything was all right with the world and you both were happy together, and now you find yourself thrown into a world of unknowns. Even if you didn't feel completely happy in the relationship it was familiar to you. Now you feel like you have to do something to regain that feeling of control and this can lead to desperation. This sense of desperation you are feeling can cause you to start exhibiting the push away behaviors that will make it less and less likely that you and your ex girlfriend will get back together. Things such as arguing with her about wanting to break up or getting angry with her for leaving will only widen the gap between you both. And every time you plead and beg with your girlfriend to come back to you it will only drive her further away. Even if you think that if she knew how much you love her and want her she would come rushing back into your open arms, you could find that you have pushed your ex girlfriend into the open arms of another man instead. You must understand that you simply cannot attract someone back when you are being needy, angry or extremely depressed! Or perhaps you are thinking that you must do something soon because if you don't show your ex girlfriend how much you care right now it might be too late to ever get her back. The truth is this will cause her to feel even more angry and alienated. It's time to get a handle on yourself and your emotions. You need to take a break to give yourself time to clear your head and get rational again. A cooling off period will give both you and your ex girlfriend some space to breath and reevaluate what went wrong with the relationship and it will be much easier to reopen the lines of communication after there's been some time and distance between you both. Even if you have made some big mistakes it's not too late; so remember, take that step back now and give it a break. Use this cooling off period instead to pull yourself together and learn a SMARTER WAY of getting your ex girlfriend back!
