Espresso: Coffee but Better
The aroma of fresh coffee and freshly ground coffee beans is one of the most appealing elements of drinking coffee for coffee andespresso lovers. The appeal decreases when the coffee comes pre-ground and the sound of the grinders irritate the ears. For people who do not want the noise of the electric coffee grinders should look int... Getting A Good Night of Sleep at your Bed & Breakfast

This Food and Drink Article is Brought To You By - Patti Rob

Many owners of bed & breakfast businesses work hard to get all the key elements in place. They offer a great looking place both inside and out. They have great interaction with their guests and serve delicious meals. Yet they fail to focus on one important issue - helping the guests to get their rest. It can be difficult to sleep in a new location and you want to do your part to make them comfortable.

It can take a person a while to adjust to sleeping in a new environment. Yet if they feel safe and they have comfortable surroundings it will be much easier. You want your guests to love the feel of the bed you have provided for them. It needs to be large enough for two people to sleep on comfortably. Even if it is an individual guest you want them to have plenty of room to stretch out. Some people like more than one pillow so there should be at least four in each room.

Most bed & breakfast locations don't have individual thermostats in each room. Since the temperature that each person is comfortable at varies this can prove to be a big piece of making sure everyone gets a good nice of sleep. With this in mind you need to make sure you have plenty of blankets available. A thin one for those that don't need much as well as a thick comforter for those that do should cover it.

You can also offer fans in each room to help cool things down in the hotter times of the year. Many people find it is harder to sleep when they are hot than if they are cold. If your business is in an area where it is extremely humid, you should expect people to be using these fans on a regular basis when they stay with you.

Your guests likely don't know each other and they will want to have their privacy protected. They also want to know they are secure at night while they try to sleep. Each room should have a push in lock as well as a deadbolt on the inside of the door. You wouldn't expect someone to stay at a hotel without such protection so offer it for them as well.

What about the windows? They should have locks on them too. This way the guests can open them when they want some fresh air and then close them before the go to sleep. You can also offer bars on them to prevent someone from getting in. This is more of a problem on a ground floor than anywhere else. They may be used on higher levels too though to prevent people from falling out.

You likely don't want to think about a fire occurring in your bed & breakfast. Yet it can so you must be prepared. You also need to teach your guests about how to safely evacuate. This information should be in each room. There should be a ladder for those on top floors to access should they need to as a method of escaping.

How well do people sleep at your bed & breakfast? If you aren't paying attention to these concepts then they may not be doing so as well as they could be. You can be assured that if they have a wonderful experience at your business and they sleep well they will be returning later on. They will also be willing to share what a wonderful bed & breakfast you have with others they know.
