So you need to consider a couple of things before advertising in ezines. 1 thing you want to realize is that it has no purpose to pay good money to advertise in an ezine with low open rates and readership. No fancy stuff. And the only ads inside are the ones they profit from. For the simple reason because it makes them more cash. But if you're creative, there are always methods to get in. For instance, if you got a product, contact the ezine owner and offer them some more commission. Maybe 60% instead of the 50% you pay to lesser mortals? Always read de list you want to publish your ad in, before publishing. Make sure they actually provide good content to their readers. Don't be shy to ask for figures either. Ask for proof of their claims like open rates, etc. In this way you can back yourself up and be sure that you aren't advertising in some crappy newsletter. Classifieds and bottom sponsor ads are a big no, no too. Unless you don't have the funds for more, always try to go for the top sponsor ads or solo ads. The highest quality ezines can often be found through online networks. This is also because they make sure you get your ads published in highly qualified and targeted ezines.
