Certainly if you have been seeking out solutions for lowering your fuel consumptionthen you have seen some of the solutions I am going to mention here.
What is amazing is that there are so many tips to increase your MPG. This is that the average car uses only 20% or so of the gasoline purchased! Uh huh that literally sucks! Here are some of the tips that I have seen… Park your automobile in the shade (means less evaporation of your gasoline) Get gasoline when it is cooler outside (the gasoline is thicker so you end up with more) Don’t fuel up when there is a gasoline station truck filling the station’s tanks (so you won’t get sediment in your gasoline tank from the gas station’s storage tank) Unload the junk from your trun (will save you approximately $50/year) Don’t use the AC (consumes energy) Turn on the AC (on the freeways so that you don’t cause a drag by keeping the windows open at speeds above 55) Some solutions that tell you how to reorganize your entire life… Relocate closer to your job Don’t drive during rush hour Car Pool Walk Great! A ingenious way to save gasoline is to walk! And a ingenious way to lose weight is to starve! THE BONA FIDE SOLUTION The only optimum solution to increase your MPG, with gasoline prices in the $3-4.50 range up and down over the last year or so is to sever your umbilical cord… the one that chains you to the gasoline pump and shed your chains of slavery to the oil companies and…. Convert to a hydrogen engine! What if you never needed to buy another gallon of fuel again? Convert your fuel engine to hydrogen. If you do a partial (hybrid) conversion then you can expect lowered fuel consumption of up to 30% maybe more. If you do this and also add acetone to your gas tank (which will save you another 25% or so) then you will have lowered your fuel consumption by a combined 50%! Put in about 2-3 ounces of acetone per 10 gallons of fuel and less fuel will evaporate and you increase your MPG by 25% or more. If you do a full gas to hydrogen conversion then you will have pumped your last gallon of fuel for the rest of your life. It is far easier than you might think, costs hardly anything, safeguards the environment and you will have the pleasure of knowing that you are conserving resources instead of consuming more than your fair share.
