Front Sight and its founder and director, Ignatius Piazza, have been in the news a lot lately, thanks especially to the amount of press coverage on the U.S. Supreme Court's upcoming case. The case which the U.S. Supreme Court will be ruling on is - according to Front Sight and Ignatius Piazza - the most important of its kind in decades. Never has the government been this close to doing its duty and upholding the Constitution, in particular the Second Amendment, than this January, say Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight. Obviously, the shooting school that delivers gun training to more students annually than all other major shooting schools in the nation combined (namely, Front Sight) and the man responsible for it and its success (Ignatius Piazza), are opposed to anything that might even come close to hampering their mission of delivering firearms training to all of America. While their mission of getting gun training for each American may be a bit of an impossibility, getting firearms training for every responsible, able-bodied, right-minded American would not be too difficult. Though Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight continue to stress that it would be difficult if the U.S. Supreme Court should happen to not throw the District of Columbia's handgun ban out.

For that is the reason that the press is so intently watching the U.S. Supreme Court: the constitutionality of the District of Columbia's (clearly unconstitutional) handgun ban has been challenged by a citizen, and the appellate courts continued passing the buck until the justices of the U.S. Supreme Court reached down and grabbed the case by the scruff and inspected it carefully. After the U.S. Supreme Court deemed the case important, Ignatius Piazza and Front Sight went into overdrive, spreading their area of influence further and further and their student base deeper and deeper, all the while stressing that self defense is an absolutely mandatory, god-given right that must be defended, tooth and nail.

Front Sight and Ignatius Piazza have safeguarded the lives of countless citizens - easily in the tens of thousands - by delivering firearms training that enables citizens to protect themselves and their loved ones. Tens of thousands of Americans are now living proof that gun training means gun safety. Thousands of students have received concealed carry licenses shortly after receiving firearms training at Front Sight, and those students (along with the other Americans who carry concealed carry permits) have proven that those with gun training are safe and responsible.

Ignatius Piazza is proud of his students, he knows that they have utilized their firearms training to the utmost. Front Sight stands as a beacon for Second Amendment rights for all of America. And could any other right be more important? I'd be the first to tell you, the freedom of press and religion is absolutely fundamental and vital, but how could the people possibly keep that right if their right to carry firearms isn't inviolable?

Governments are scared of their people, there is no exception, and any attempts to restrict firearms in the populace must be treated as an aggressive, offensive action against the people. Front Sight and Ignatius Piazza understand this, their students understand this, millions of Americans who've never heard of Front Sight or Ignatius Piazza understand this. The U.S. Supreme Court had better understand this and rule on their case accordingly.
