Free Your Body - Try Some Herbal Tea Recipes

If you would like to create herbal teas of your own there are, a wealth of sites on the internet today, which can offer you advice, and herbal tea recipes that you may want to consider trying. There are so many different types of herbal teas to choose from that you may need to try them all before you find those that you really like.

Below we provide you with details of two such recipes which you may want to try and which you may find beneficial to your health and wellbeing. The first one we look at will provide with uplifting properties that will give your energy levels a boost.

Known as the uplifting tea for this you will need to get hold of the following dried ingredients:- 25g of chamomile flowers, 25g of lavender flowers, 25g lemon balm leaves, plus 50g of vervain, 50g of peppermint leaves and finally 50g of crushed linden flowers.

You mix these ingredients together, then place in a jar (dark in color), and then store them away. Then when you need to make your teas get 1 or 2 teaspoons of the mix and place in a small teapot or a tisane cup. Then get some boiling water and add this to the mixture you have placed in the teapot or cup. Allow the mixture to brew for around 5 to 10 minutes before you pour it through a strainer. Then all you need to do is drink it.

The previous recipe we looked at provided your body with a boost of energy whilst the next one contains properties which will help you to relax and sleep better at night. To make this particular night time herbal tea you will need 25g of California Poppies, 25g of Hawthorn flowers and 25g of Melilot, plus 50g of wild lettuce leaves.

Again as with the first recipe we have provided in this article you need to mix all the ingredients previously mentioned together. Then store in an airtight jar when not being used. This is ideal to be drunk last think at night just before you are about to go to bed.

Take 1 or 2 teaspoons of the mixture and place in a teapot or a tisane cup, which comes with a lid, cup strainer and saucer. Then you next need to boil up some water and add this to the mixture. Now allow the whole mixture to stand for 5 to 10 minutes so the water becomes infused with the herbs. Then after this time as with the uplifting tea, you simply strain it and then drink.

As well as the herbal tea recipes that we have mentioned above there are plenty of others you may want to consider trying. There are some which can actually help to remove all those unwanted toxins and substances that our bodies absorb. But the biggest reason why many people choose to drink teas like these is not only are they completely natural they are free of caffeine and have far fewer calories in them.
