You definitely want to evaluate vending machine locations on your own. Never take what those pushing vending machine packages are trying to sell to you at face value.
It is in your best interest to avoid vending machine packages; they are quite messy to be honest with you. They tend to result in people just spinning their wheels and learning some very hard lessons. Sometimes you can turn things around in time but in many instances people can't. They have invested too much in the vending machine package to pull themselves out of it.

Chances are you will make some mistakes along the way and need to make changes. Don't let one of those mistakes be relying on vending machine packages though.
