Bruce Springsteen
If you are looking for a sure fire way to rock out this year, check out the hottest tour on the road right now, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s Magic Tour! Featuring the boss of rock and roll himself, Bruce Springsteen and the world famous E Street Band (including drummer Max Weinberg from television’s Late Night With Conan O’ Brien), this tour has been selling out in mere minutes in every city it plays, making it an almost impossible ticket to find. If you are one of the lucky ones to get in, you are sure to experience a night you will not soon forget!
This is the first time Bruce has toured since the 2004 Vote For Change, which saw Springsteen hit the road in support of Democratic candidates in the 2004 elections. While there is no direct election to support this time, Clear Channel Communications, an owner of many American radio stations, has refused to play the new album, Magic, because of the strong political points it makes. However, this censorship hasn’t stopped the album from hitting the top of the charts.
The show has featured a good mix of new material off of the hit album Magic, as well as all of the rock anthems that Bruce and the E Street Band have been performing for years. While other rockers are ready to start oldies tours, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are still cranking out hit records to go along with their huge catalogue of older music. Let’s take a closer look at what the Magic tour has to offer!
Unlike many of the tours of the past, this one is all about rock and roll. According to fans who attended the first few shows, the concert lasted well over two hours, and unlike in years past when Bruce and the band would spend considerable time telling stories, cracking jokes and playing long solos, this time, Bruce and the band are only concerned about rocking as hard as they can and fitting as many hit songs as possible into the time allotted. Fans have reported that more songs have been played during this tour than any other tour any of them can remember. That fact alone has made the tens of thousands of fans who are waiting for their turn to see the show even more excited.
Much of the new album Magic is played, but the pace is quick and hit songs like "Radio Nowhere" have been getting great responses. In many of the shows so far, "Radio Nowhere" opens the concert and the pace just flies on from there. Don’t miss your chance to see one of the most highly anticipated shows this decade when Bruce Springsteen comes to town! No one rocks like The Boss, and this is the best chance you’ll have to hear all of his hit songs!
