* Replace all high fat foods with their low fats and high fiber counterparts. For e.g. you should replace butter with low fat margarine, whole milk with skimmed milk, and juices with fruits.
* Avoid packaged juices, aerated drinks, and other drinks high in sugar content. These drinks are a source of empty calories.
* Eat small meals 5-6 times in a day. Having small meals frequently helps to improve metabolism of the body, which in turn helps to lose weight faster.

Physical Activity

As already discussed, the increase in weight is because of consumption of more calories than that spent by the body. Hence to lose weight fast you should burn more calories by being more physically active. You should start an exercise regimen depending upon your weight and health. You should always start with mild intensity exercises and then gradually move to high intensity exercises. This gives the body time to adapt itself to the exercise regimen, which is important to prevent injuries.
